Kidding aside, Huey Lewis & The News tenor man Ron Stallings had an absolutely beautiful, baritone voice, both speaking and singing. But if we had used a different voice for HLN’s a cappella, it would have taken away from our original blend… what we were known for.
But back to Ron… if you dig real deep, you can hear his voiceover as an animated yellow taxi in one of those 90s gas company commercials!
