That’s an easy one… Chris played all the hard parts! In all seriousness though, Hayes was a real guitarist and he played most of the guitars on our recordings. But when it came time to make them sound good live, I was always relegated to the rhythm parts. See, I didn’t play guitar when we started up HLN! It rounded out our live sound, it gave me something to do while I sang all the two-parts and BVs out there on the front line, and it was a good look… they don’t call ‘em "Posin’ Poles" for nothing!
